You ended the curse of the Witch Owl, but many mysteries remained. Who placed the curse on the Miller’s wife, and why?
You discovered a locket in the Witch Owl’s nest, which contained a scrap of paper with the name ‘Jennifer’ on it.
You read the Miller’s wife’s journal, revealing that she had had an affair with someone she called ‘My lady with the dancing hair.’ This mysterious lover had offered to grant a wish, and had apparently also left behind a magical poppet, but of this you could find no trace.
You descended down into the well in Wicklow Mill and found an underground chamber. There, you retrieved a strange magical doll.
Ma Marigold tossed the poppet onto the fire, scolding Enid for bringing it into the house.
Completed Quests
You intervened in a disagreement over some spoiled flour and were deputised by the Bailiff, Caris Flyte, to go to Wicklow Mill and exonerate the miller, Harley Buck. Who is responsible for the tainted flour?
Upon arriving in Wicklow Mill, you discovered that the Miller’s wife had been transformed by a curse; the whole town was enchanted by her. She was shedding magical corruption which tainted the flour.
You met an itinerant wizard called Robard Blandish who is searching for ancient magical secrets. He gave you an empty tinderbox which used to contain a fire spirit. Can you recover Robard’s spark?
While fighting a grass fire at Bollin Farm, Enid captured the fire spirit, persuading it to return to the tinderbox.
Enid set the fire spirit free, but could not coax it back into the tinderbox.
Carp Barlow, a grave robber, bought a cache of looted weapons into the Dower. Their deathly owners came to retrieve them in the night, slaughtering Carp, Gurgis Smolk, the mudlark, and Lobelia Smith, the maid of Axel Moorcraft. Can you stop the undead horde?
You fought and defeated the hobgoblin wight, Xalik cul Zhahn, preventing him from killing Axel Moorcraft and Caris Flyte.
